Our PhoenixMiles program started 15 years ago and it now boasts over 10 million members. Our loyal customers have myriad ways of using their accrued mileage to their benefit. We will now commence the policy of the “Award Real Name Policy for Mileage Beneficiaries”. According to the new policy, when you use your mileage to request air travel related awards (free ticket, class upgrade, etc), beneficiaries of your mileage may only include you and those you have designated beforehand in a list of beneficiaries.  When you use your mileage to request awards not related to air travel, the above mentioned limitation does not apply.

Please read the following for more details:

1. Only you and the nominees on your list of mileage redemption nominees that has become effective can benefit from the award ticket or award class upgrade. When it comes to using your mileage for the items in our PhoenixMiles Shopping City, this policy does not apply.
   
   
2. Each PhoenixMiles member, including PhoenixMiles Junior member, can have up to 8 nominees. No companies or legal-person entities can be on the list of nominees.
   
   
3. The list of nominees you provide to us for the first time and the revisions you make to the list for the first time will take effect in 60 days.
   
   
4. No mileage will be deducted from your mileage account when you provide us with the list of nominees for the first time or delete nominees from the list for the first time. But 300km will be deducted from your mileage account each time you add a nominee or nominees to the list.
   
   
5. The rules that are applicable to adults apply equally to child/infant.
   
   
6. When you request award ticket or award class upgrade, you are required to produce your PhoenixMiles member card, mileage account password, your ID, the ID of the person who makes the request on your behalf and/or the ID of the passenger.
   
   
7. You can not use the mileage from your account in conjunction with the mileage from the account of another member.
   
   
8. Other rules on mileage redemption apply.
